About 2 weeks later, Karl thought it would be better if I worked at Subway rather than at Nicky’s and told me that I should go and see the manager. I didn’t really know what to do but I did end up going there with him one afternoon. After being in the office and chatting for a few minutes, I did get the job, and without an interview :-p . I had to go and inform Nicky’s wife immediately that I would be leaving and that my last day would be on Sunday. She was surprised and had a disappointed look on her face… I felt really bad… But not long after, she realized that it wasn’t a bad time actually, because one of the old waitresses was coming back the following Monday, so it actually worked out quite well. They just had to rearrange all the shifts (which would have happened anyway), and because I was leaving, they wouldn’t get less hours.

I started on Tuesday the 17th of August at Subway – Pride Park and it went really well. I enjoyed it and everyone was really nice. I worked at three different Subways in Derby so far but now I am mostly working at Subway – The Spot which is around the corner from Nicky’s Lounge. Yay. -_-"

I used to work at Subway as well. As stressful as it sometimes was, it still was a lot of fun. And all those yummy sandwiches and cookies so close didn't hurt either :)
